I am properly corrected, "The 'World's' First successful Submarine".

I was just pointing out that as a statement of actual fact that the C.S.S Hunley was the property of a government other than the United States of America. That Nation only existed "officially" for 51 months (Feb 1861 to May 1865) but it was a Government seperate and independant of those United States, therefore a foriegn government. And by that standard, not rightly the provience of the United States to claim as their invention, even though SOUTHERN Americans invented it.
