I have no clue...,neither does anyone else, what the "signals agreed upon" between Battery Marshall and Dixon actually were. I commend you on your effort- I like your idea. Since there were a large array of different signal devices available, recommend keeping an open mind to all possible answers- the ocean at night can play tricks with mind.
