I have been a student of this war for more years than I want to say (40 maybe) and I had never read that account of Roswell. I knew of Sherman's great talents for burning and also knew of the pontoon bridge epsiode. But this Roswell thing is too much. All I could think of was what happened to a particular group of people in Europe in the 1930's and 40's. They were put in train cars and shipped off to oblivion too.....I best stop now....
