I agree, Longstreet, was suposed to attack, early in the morning, but, didn't, due to the fact, that, all his force, had not arrived, at that time, also like you stated, he acted, like a spoiled child, and did nothing until very late in the evening, except expend his, his artillary ammo,(which, I am sure he thought, was softening up the enemy lines), but there had to be a window, he should have thought of, (if his info, was correct), he should have considered, and acted!!!!A frontal attack, I don't think, was Lee's best bet, at any rate he should have found a position, where Meade would have came to him!!!!!!!!!
