Have you tried a different spelling?
I know that I found a relative buried in Savannah under a spelling that appeared to be a sounded out
version of the name. What was so ironic to me is that he was a CSA soldier who died in a Union hospital, but
had a marked grave. He is the only one of my fallen CSA connections to lie in anything that looks like a marked
grave.
I would almost venture that this man is buried under a marker that says, Unknown-USA.
