Re: When history is written is important

Yes, the rewritten lessons were put in place in the late 60's. The Civil War history I was taught in school was very different than the Civil War history my children were taught. The information distribution my Grandchildren had on the subject was even more lopsided. I find it very interesting that this subject is still as divisive now as it was 40 years ago.

Just having to rewrite a foreword to better explain the content is a sad statement on our PC society. Given the knowledge that we are not required to conform to 'state' delegated thinking due to our Constitution it makes ya wonder why but then again, we know the why of it. "We the People" is still us vs them.
