Yes sir Edward. All that you state is true. And you too Alice. I would urge everyone here that has never visited Virginia's Mariner's Museum to make an effort to go. Their conservation efforts on the Monitor, their full size display re-creation of it, and the detailed displays of the CSS Virginia and USS Monitor are breathtaking. A lot of time, money, and effort went into what is today's Mariner's Museum. I wish you ALL could behold the beauty of this great institution. Let me know in advance if you are planning a visit. I would love to return and revisit it with some of like interests. I live about 50 miles from the museum.
