David,

My wife and I went to the movie theater for the first time in about seven years. Due to the atmosphere in the modern movie theater, i.e., cell phones, people talking like they're in their living rooms and screaming babies and children, we gave up on going to the movie theater. In addition to the above, many of the movies today are very heavy-handed ideologically, politically, etc.

It is an old-fashioned sci-fi story with amazing special effects and "CGI". It has a moral content, a love story and is a "clean" movie with very little profanity, no sex scenes and no liberal/progressive message.

I still can't believe they handled his 1st Virginia Cavalry service and "the Cause" in an even-handed way, but they did.

If you like sci-fi and fantasy this is a terrific film.

Jim
