Re: regarding the Forrest bust.

Pam, I cannot think of any better fight songs.
As for the UDC if they won't change the meeting times to accomodate the working folks, then consider getting some of your friends together and start another chapter. As my daddy used to say, "there is more than one way to skin a cat"
I am not happy with the local SCV group, I have been approached by some commanders about starting a new camp. I have enough men to do that, but with all these ball games this time of year, I just do not have any time. (got 6 softball games this week, In 2 states and 2 counties outside my county)
I have got to get busy doing that.
Oh yeah, to all you relic hunters, and metal detectors out there. Another way the states are getting into our business is by passing laws about metal detecting. The state of Georgia has passed a law stating that it is unlawful to hunt relics on private property unless: #1 you have written permission from the land owner, ( which most land owners will give you permission, but are hesitant to put it in writing) #2 you have to file an intent to hunt 5 days prior to hunting, with the land location and owners name.
We just figure that this is a way of getting some relics into politicans hands, so they do not have to get off their lazy butts, or get their fancy shoes dirty wandering around in the mud and woods. Another long story for later.
