Not fair David and I am going to have to call you on this one. Hood was brilliant, even gallant as a brigade commander. Davis elevated him to his highest level of incompetency and he failed. It happens all the time in business and perhaps now and then in the military. It is right that Hood's legacy reflects his abject failure in the AoT. That does not diminish his success in the ANV. Not even a little bit. But, you can still be my friend. (:
