The accounts we read from soldiers who were not officers give us a glimpse into 'their real' world. Officers accounts often are full of orders, names, reasons but things like this sure put the 'human' factor in our learning process. War Eagle has always been part of my vocabulary but I think it's going to be a lot more obvious since Granddaughter is moving to Auburn.
