I agree this is a very good movie and I understand it is not a documentary. The only inaccuracy that keeps nagging me is the movie portrays the two principals as contemporaries that served in the regular army together. Randall McCoy was born in 1825 and Devil Anse was born in 1839. They had very long lives, especially Randall.
