There were several Unique things that occurred during the 150th Reenactment of Shiloh.

The are several YouTube videos of the events, including the 20 mile march, with Infantry, Cavalry, Artillery, and baggage train, from Corinth to Shiloh, and the Union Pacific passenger Steam Locomotive #844 that traveled from Omaha Neb. to Memphis with several cars of reenactors and a flatcar carrying 8 pieces of Artillery. The entire Train was dedicated to the Reenctors.

That is all beside being on a part of the actual Battlefield right across the Highway from the National Park, even if we were not on the National Park Itself.

It was a well done event as far as I was concerned. Reportedly 7,000 reenactor registered and 30,000 spectators bought tickets for Saturdays afternoon 4 hour public battle.
