I acknowledge that the changes to the Civil War Soldiers and Sailors System have caused frustration by many who were familiar with a system they used regularly. Our goal in designing nps.gov/civilwar was to provide visitors with opportunities to seamlessly explore the Civil War via National Park Service sites and resources. We have collaborated with many colleagues throughout the design and fabrication of this site; however, we recognize we have work yet to do.
