Yep, again. That cain that wasn't a cain here but drowned East Fl. It's kind of amazing that Chase could build a fortress on sand and it's lasted a very long time but DOT can't figure out how to build a road. There's been a lot of suggestions. I can't post some of them. One did have some merit. An elevated road. I know, it won't work in a huge storm but would keep these washouts from happening. Parks ain't on the top of the to do list right now at DOT. Oh, and there's the worry about it's effect on the turtle nest.
