His title is totally mis-leading, "Why Non-Slaveholding Southerners Fought."

In his discussion, he only notes political and social leaders, not the common man.

It's a given, that the politicians seceeded because of the election of the Black-Republicans to the Presidency and their antipithy to
slavery which would ultimately bring an end to the economy of the South. But, why the dirt poor tillers of the soil, my ancestors and
front line riflemen?

I think his tie of the respect for the Confederate flag to the KKK is out of place.
