I think the saddest thing about all this is there are still some unknown items we may consider treasure but I sure would hope there could be some verification on the item for the price shown. It's kind of like American Pickers going nuts about finding a genuine Confederate Dog River Sword. It sounded good. We know they didn't do their homework.

Yes, it was a well learned lesson. He was trying to do something nice for me but he now does some more checking into possible purchases.
