Glad to hear y'all came through OK! I haven't heard from George but the kin in Amite County were OK. Virgil told me yesterday they were running off a generator but no damage to speak of.

We must have been just out of range here in Evangeline Parish. We did not lose power and I only have a few small leaf clusters of oak to mow over. We didn't get enough rain to hardly show in the ditches. I just finished dumping several cans of gasoline in my truck, my son's truck, lawnmower and ATV and still had some to put in my neighbors car. Sweetie figues we "wasted" about $400 on gas for the storm. It really took her a while to remember we could also use it that way. I'm gonna tease her hard about it but not until after she cooks supper ;-)
