No, but I do remember a funny story by a Confederate soldier in his war time diary. He was caught in the open, by himself, trying to get back to his own lines, by a Union patrol. He decided to try to run for it, and the chase was on. But after only a few dozen yards the fat Union troops gave up, blowing and puffing, the Reb said, "The Fed could never catch the Un-Fed!" or words to that effect.
