Re: States Rights and Wrongs of the South

The more I look into it the more I can see that the issues of States Rights and grievences of the South was evolutionary. The secessionist radicals were trying different emotional subjects to use as a bases for secession/disunion. More than that, they took advantage of what ever hot topic that came along that would further their cause.

What would have happened to their cause had Lincoln lost the 1860 election?
