Re: More Confederate Female Soldiers

I just looked in a book of mine because those names rang a 'bell'. The Women's War In The South, Recollections and Reflections of the American Civil War, edited by Charles G. Waugh and Martin H. Greenberg.

This story is in it. It says when they were found out and were told their "war" had ended, Mollie told Early that there were six other women masquerading as men and refused to name them. It also says they left Castle Thunder to return to their mountain home.
I think I need to revisit this book.
