I am certain the subject of this thread is the worship of the Lincoln myth as the 19th Century human rights advocate credited as being the Great Emancipator versus the truth. We all know that he had low regard for black people. Lincoln evidently did not care much for white people (North or South), if they got in the way of his agenda for growing a more powerful federal government.
