"I wouldn't want my heritage tarnished anymore from THEM." You know this works 2 ways. I have had my heritage tarnished for years from the PC, Federal Gov., and the people that are always screaming about their rights and their heritage. Well what about my rights, and your rights, as a proud descendant of Confederate soldiers that served their country with honor and pride. It will soon be that no one has the right to honor his/her confederate ancestors, and I fully expect all the Confederate monuments on little court squares, street intersections, and cemeteries across the south, will have to be removed because we are "tarnishing their heritage"! I have a SCV tag on my truck, and proud to have it there (costs me and extra $35 a year). My daughter, lives in Woodstock, Ga., borrowed the truck for a few days, and drove it to work in North Atlanta. Some people approached her and told her she needed to tape over the Confederate Flag on the tag, because it was upsetting a lot of people. Well I am proud to have that flag there, and I really do not care who it upsets. Now I have a first national flag on the front of the truck, and I dare anyone to tell me to cover up the battle flag on the state tag, or anyone to tell me to remove the first national. And to make me happier I changed my cell phone ring tone to:
"DIXIE", so you can imagine what kind of looks I get when my cell phone rings while we are out in public and I do not care what kind of looks I get, it is my phone and I will have it the way I want it. But again I am proud of what my ancestors fought for, and it is a SHAME that statues, monuments, car tags, and even cell phone ring tones have to be changed just to satisfy people who have no regard for my rights!!!
This was a beautiful work of art, and what else upsets me is that the school made the statement they had it removed to protect it, if the truth was known they had it removed to protect themselves.
Pam: You buy this work of art and I will personally stand guard over it the first 24 hours!!!!
