When I first read 'blue light' I thought about St Elmo's fire. We have a spot in Bayou Grande that has always been a source of that 'glow'. Sometimes it looked green and some time it had a blue tint. Probably nothing to do with this story but it did jog my memory and I try not to let that happen too often these days.
