Pam, I seem to remember a few years back there was some land bought and a tall flag pole put on it, and even flew the Confederate Flag for a while. This was in north Georgia along I-75. My memory is almost non existant, but I do remember there was quite a battle went on about this. Maybe someone else from Georgia can help us remember. I imagine one reason there was such a battle was because I-75 is the major route yankees take getting to Florida, I-95 being the other so that automatically made it "wrong". I cannot remember what ever happened. but I have been up that interstate several times since then and I do not remember seeing the flag flying.
Maybe someone ought to fly one over I-95 to One flag every 10 miles on both interstates just to remind them that we might have lost the war, but we will never forget.
