:D I told ya that was the "story". My Daughter was not kidding. Her husband said he'd always heard that and he grew up there. I think it's one of those urban legends but the 'urban' was a beach. I'm not sure they had a bar on PC Beach in '42. She made that statement last week and I hadn't mentioned U-Boats.
Hold on a minute, how many made up a crew on a U-Boat? :\
