We may have a solution to the access to Ft Pickens and it's on and off problem. The Park Service is getting 2 ferries to run from the Port to Pickens. Right now the access is only by boat due to road flooding and sand from last weeks storm. Lots of campers had to leave when they closed it before the high water hit. We hope this will keep tourist coming since most of them don't have a boat.
