There is a well known photographic portrait of Albert Sidney Johnston as Brigadier General USA taken in late 1860 or early 1861. We find this picture of him in his regulation blue uniform to his waist, BUT WAIT, in a ca. 1970 publication I discovered a very small image and it shows that this picture, in fact, was originally shot to show the subject to just above the knee. I CANNOT FIND THIS ORIGINAL UNCROPPED POSE, ANYWHERE? Where is it? Can anyone help? Can anyone post the uncropped original version? Thank you, BF
