Unfortunately the news article didn't include a copy of the entire photo, just the cropped part they believe is Ridgeway. The subjects attire in the photo looks moreso of the 1880-90 era than 1860.... Tintype photographic medium wasnt as common in 1860 as they became later in the war. The subject in the photo may resemble the recreated face of the Hunley crew member... if related probably would... I would be a bit skeptical on this one.
