While reading, The Monuments Men, a book about the men who hunted down stolen art treasures by the Nazis. I found out that one of the men, Walter Hancock ,a renown sculptor, was the last man hired to finish the carvings of Confederate leaders...Davis,Lee and Jackson... at Stone Mountain. I had never read of his military service before or the contributions that he made in WW2.
