Re: Canadians in the American Civil War (eBooks)

Ken,
Do you have details concerning Canadians at Gettysburg? I recently researched foreign-born soldiers at Gettysburg. Regarding Canada, years ago Tom Brooks graciously provided me with information such as the fact that the 5th New Hampshire, which fought near the Wheatfield, enrolled a total of 359 Canadians. Several New Brunswick natives fought in the famed 1st Minnesota - I learned that New Brunswick was heavily populated with American Tories after the Revolutionary War. On the southern side, Captain Frederick Richardson, commanding Company F of the 5th Louisiana, was a former accountant from Montreal - he was killed in the first day's fight and was buried at midnight by his subordinates.
