It is funny how people will read anything they want into the Bible, or the Law.

The Armerican Baptist split into the Northern and Southern Baptist Associations over doctrinal differences which also included a difference in the interpretation of the Slavery Issue. However the morality of the Slavery Issue was imbedded inside an even larger doctrinal issue and that is the "Rule of Law".
