I realize this is an old thread but if anyone wants to do some research and the institution that has the material is not too far away-

The only Montgomery newspaper that was being printed during the period (between March 28 and April 12) was the Daily Mail.
The Advertiser had removed to Columbus, GA. The existing issues for the Daily Mail were for March 29, April 2, 8, and 11.
Not sure if it's on microfilm.
