Re: Oakwood Cemetery Photo Location?

This first photo shows a marked upright wooden head marker which appears to be that of H. L. Harwood.

I have not been able to find a site listing the known burials at Oakwood. I thought we had a group actively working on identifying the unknowns and believed they periodically published a known list.

This could be him:

H L. Harwood
Residence was not listed; 28 years old.
Enlisted on 4/7/1862 at Petersburg, VA as a Private.
On 4/7/1862 he mustered into "K" Co. VA 5th Cavalry
born in 1834

There is only one card in his CSR, that being of Company K’s muster-in roll of April 7, 1862. The next surviving Company K muster roll is for the period Nov/Dec, 1863 which would indicate that he had been dropped from the rolls during the intervening period.

Do we know who is working on the unknowns at Oakwood that we can pass this information on to?
