Enlisted on 5/4/1862 as a Private.
On 5/4/1862 he mustered into "I" Co. GA 46th Infantry
He was Killed on 6/20/1864 at Kennesaw Mountain, GA [2nd Sgt.]

On 4/4/1864 he mustered into "I" Co. GA 46th Infantry

Note, he was recorded present at the August 31, 1864 muster which is the one and only card in his CSMR file]
