Found this article in the Westville News of Simpson County, Mississippi. Oct. 26, 1899.

I wish there was more detail, but this looks like a Civil War pension report.

"A Jackson (Mississippi) special says that Pension Clerk Hemingway has completed the compilation of the pension rolls showing number of pensioners in each class and the amount each will receive as follows:

Class no. 1, 33 pensioners, $100 each;
Class no. 2, 179 pensioners, $50;
Class no. 3, 1,909 pensioners, (widows) $25;
Class no. 4, 1,972 pensioners, $7.20;
Class no. 5, 114 pensioners (servants) $7.20"
