By far the largest SCV Camp 1535 Chase Memorial has been held. It was the first time that descendants from both the Atlantic ocean and Pacific ocean were in attendance. Several out of State guests were present including Illinois, Michigan, Georgia, Florida, California, Missouri and Mississippi.

The UDC was there in their period costumes and nearly twenty of them were present. A Confederate Band was present as well as an honor guard.

A little over 100 people were present paying tribute to those dead at Camp Chase.
