Joe I have yet to find any hint of evidence that slavery was a rem0ote cause of the war. If it was a cause who was trying to take away the slaves??? Not Lincoln.

I have been in many debates with historians and college professors regarding the cause of the war. They have two bullets, one is the secession docs, which are not war declarations, and Stephens Cornerstone speech, which there is not written copy. If yu have info other than this please post.
