George, I know that blacks served with the Confederacy but I'm not really an expert on that subject. I'm not as well informed as many on this board. My main interest is the men from East Tenn. and West NC. Also I had North Georgia ancestors at both Vicksburg and Gettysburg. Did you have any kin at those places?
