Many people believe including myself the two groups responsible for the anti Confederate movement as of late are the Black Lives Matter movement and the Antifa. Folks can google Antifa to learn about this organization.

The statue of the Confederate soldier at Camp Chase was torn down and the head removed from the monument. Police believe it will be tempting for the vandals to post a photograph of it on face book. If anyone sees what appears to be a Confederate head please contact the Columbus, Ohio police department.

Some SCV camps have had some minor victories over these two groups but I'd rather not discuss the legal methods employed for obvious reasons. In another positive platform the president of the Sons of Union Veterans have condemned the removal of Confederate statues.
