A while back, a couple of years maybe, I contacted the Texas Archives about acquiring a list of Black Confederates from Texas. They sent me a short list of about 9 and I think two were actually white. See http://negrosingrey.southernheritageadvancementpreservationeducation.com/page.php?34

The other names I have from Texas are either submissions or I found by doing additional research. Do you have any information or sources you can pass to me that may help locate these Black Confederate soldiers???
