While going through the pensions Index book today at the MDAH I saw a servant who applied for a pension in 1932 and his name was spelled as "Add Cooper" and filed in Humphreys County. He may have connected with the 35th Mississippi but not sure. You could probably find his pension application online.

It's a 3 volume book and perhaps around a couple of dozen servants who applied for a Confederate pension.
