N.F.James, 35th Georgia. I went to search the two top record files, that of the archives of the National Park Service, and www.civilwardata.com. Neither has a record of an N.James in the Georgia 35th. CWData lists 18 N.James for the Confederacy, many with their given first name. None with the mid initial F. None serving Georgia in any unit. Five of the 18 give only the first initial, but none served Georgia, nor the Confederate government.
