The Morg Walker home site is known and well marked. At that time it was ourside of town by a couple of miles. Old Blue Springs is very near here and was a location of a sharp encounter between Quantrills men and a small Union force. Lees Summit cemetery has several graves of these men. Quantrill is buried at the Lexington Confederate veterans home.
