I thought this article might be worth a discussion. I am not anti-Union, but I am not a Lincoln fan. I believe he was a consummate politician, who sacrificed the country for party and position. But the hypocrisy that surrounds Lincoln as "The Great Emancipator" and the view that he was one of our greatest presidents, sickens me. I'm not anti-Confederate, but I'm not a big Jeff Davis fan, either.
