David as it turns out I'll be back at the research site on Saturday so I'll take a look for your soldier and his widow and children on the salt list as they are on micro-film.

The 29th Georgia lost more soldiers at Camp Chase more than any other Georgia Unit. 26 are buried there are four of them were originally from Company D. I believe he was from Berrien County.

As you probably know the 29th Regiment Georgia Infantry was reorganized. These are from my notes.

29th Georgia Infantry on May 7, 1862 the companies were reorganized into the following:
Company B to Company E
Company C to Company G*
Company D to Company K
Company E to Company H
Company F to Company A
Company G to Company B
Company H to Company I
Company I to Company D
Company K to Company C
