Anybody heard of Sylvester Magee, supposed to have been the last Civil War veteran? I found the transcripts of an interview with him in 1969! His is African-American and lived in Mississippi. He said he fought at Vicksburg and Gettysburg for the Union. He said he was 129 years old.
