I have contacted the pers0on who put up the memorial for R. B. Pittman requesting a source of where they got their info. I also sent a correction, I guess that hasn't been put yet.

If the NCA or whatever the name of the organization takes submissions, it is easy to see how the wrong info got there. I will be out of town a couple of days, when I get back I'll contact them

The Photo of R. B. Pittman came from a cousin of mine who sent it to me. The photo was of all the Pittman brothers. The photo has been cropped. I have sent the entir photo to Lee white at Chickamauga battlefield, Ron Skellie also use the entire photo in the History of The 7th Miss. as well as some other Pittman photos. With permission of course.
