As I have pointed out earlier in this series some people like to play on terms and words to make their point-- they were only slaves, musicians cooks etc. – they were not armed. So my question is how do they know? What is their proof or source? Do they really have any or is this their own biased opinions.
You cannot state as fact what you do not know, speculation is not fact.
Here are some examples of Black Confederates. These are complete records, tell me what you can prove from them. Bear in mind some are “just slaves.” This is only from one page I have. Please pay particular attention to Jenny. One of you deniers tell me all about her. Was she armed? Captured in the field? Killed how many Yankees? No unit is listed because there was none stated, I have these listed simply as Confederate.
