George, I also post at Civil War Talk. I've took part over the years in threads concerning Confederates of Color. I'm not one trying to prove or disprove anything. Being from East Tennessee, I had close ancestors / relatives on both sides of the conflict that I'm equally proud of. I recently turned 71 and have been into civil war history since before my teen years. I only learned about Confederates Of Color a few years ago, and have been fascinated ever since.
